Explore the World of Money

Start your journey into the world of money here with the American Numismatic Association.  We have many resources to help the beginner as well as the consumate collector.  You will find the easy to use navigation box, color-coded, to find your way around the vast and sometimes overbearing amount of information that is available to you.

If you are new to collecting we recommend that you start here: [Coin Collecting Basics] and think about joining a local coin club [ANA CLUB LINK].  Also make sure to read all the online reprinted articles of "Are You a New Collector?", from the Numismatist magazine.
Have questions about some money that you found or was given to you?  Read through our Basic Coin & Money FAQ [BASIC COIN FAQ]

Once you are familiar with that information move onto more specific information about [US COINS], [WORLD MONEY], or [ANCIENT MONEY].

Learn about money and have fun at the same time!  Enjoy our ever growing [Money'Musements!]
