Money Museum Passport Questions for
"Money of the World Today"

The ANA Money Museum's newest exhibit "Money of the World Today" is on exhibit through Fall, 2006. ImageAs part of this display, virtual visitors may purchase a passport for their travels around the world and, after finding the correct answers to the following questions, receive a continent stamp in their book.

North America is a continent in the northern hemisphere.  It covers an area of 9,355,000 square miles. In 2001 its population was estimated at 454,225,000. It is the third largest continent in area, after Asia and Africa, and is fourth in population after Asia, Africa, and Europe.

North America is named after Amerigo Vespucci, who was the first European to suggest that the Americas were not the East Indies, but a previously undiscovered New World.
