Programs like this would not be possible without the generous support of our donors!
One of the primary goals of our Association is to further the education of money, the collecting of money, and the history of money. The following
resources and seminars are tools for our teachers to help acheive this goal with our upcoming generations.
Lesson Plans
Civil War High School Lesson Plan
Abraham Lincoln and the abolitionists before him attached a moral question to slavery. For
many southerners, slavery was strictly an economic way of life. Had the CivilWar not taken
place, would slavery had continued? Is there a segment of our society that still suffers under
the legacy of human bondage?
Civil War Middle School Lesson Plan
The CivilWar was a growing experience for many young men. Boys who had never
traveled more that twenty miles from home, were now men, fighting for a cause hundreds
of miles away.
Civil War Primary Lesson Plan

as an inter-disciplinary exercise that will help students understand why money played such an
important role in the CivilWar.
