Proposed ANA Bylaw Amendments Effect Voting Rights & Eligibility for Office
American Numismatic Association bylaws (Article IV, Section 8) stipulate that any
proposed bylaw amendment(s) that would affect the voting rights of members, eligibility
for office, or the structure of the Board of Governors must be published in The
Numismatist, along with statements in support of and/or opposition to said amendments.
The ANA Board of Governors voted on March 18 to present seven such proposals for
consideration. The article is presented here so that members may comment on them
before the Board takes action on August 19, during the ANA World’s Fair of Money
in Chicago.
(The proposed amendments will not affect the 2011 election of officers.)
Please use the feedback form here or send your comments addressed to the Executive
Director, American Numismatic Association, 818 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs,
CO 80903; or fax 719-634-4085.
