In-Kind Donation Guidelines

Prior to sending or delivering a material donation (such as books, journals, magazines, DVD/video, etc.), please contact the Library at (719) 482-9823 or email library@money.org.

• An inventory of the donation is required prior to receipt or shipment of donation.  Please include item description including item type, title, author, publication date, quantity of item(s) and condition.
   
• All material donations become the exclusive property of the Library and will not be returned.
   
• Items that are accepted, but not added to the collection will be held for two years and then sold with the proceeds used for the benefit of the Library.
   
• Material donations are accepted and cataloged into the collection as needed, with the understanding that the ANA Library may at anytime deaccession or dispose of the materials in an appropriate and professional manner.
   
• The Association cannot provide an appraisal or determine the monetary value of any material donation but, upon request, will provide a patron with a listing of ANA member numismatic literature dealers who offer this service.
   
• The Library will not accept any material that is dusty, damp, mildewed, moldy, or insect and/or rodent infested.
   
• The Library will not accept donations of encyclopedias or text books.
