In-Kind Donation Guidelines

An inventory is required prior to sending/submitting an in-kind donation.  Please include a complete item description, quantity and condition of item(s). The Museum cannot provide an itemized list of any donation.

All donors are required to sign a "Deed of Gift" at the time of the Museum's acceptance of a donation.

All material donations become the permanent property of the Museum and will not be returned.

Restrictions placed on gifts may not be followed.

Material donations are accepted and cataloged into the numismatic collection as needed, with the understanding that the Museum may at anytime, display, conserve, deaccession or dispose of the materials in an appropriate and professional manner.

The Association cannot provide an appraisal or determine the monetary value of any material donation, but upon request, will provide a patron with a listing of ANA member dealers who offer this service.

The Museum will not accept numismatic items that are mildewed, moldy, insect infested, physically or chemically damaged, or otherwise in poor condition.

The Museum will not accept coin folders or holders.
