American Numismatic Association
National Speakers Program
The ANA maintains a National Speaker and Numismatic Program List to
assist schools, museums, civic organizations, Scout leaders, coin clubs
and show organizers locate speakers for educational programs.
SPEAKERS:
The ANA Education Department is looking for people who have
prepared numismatic presentations who would like to be invited to share
their expertise with others. Please complete and return the Registration
Form to the Education Department to be included on this list. The
information you supply, including phone number and email address is made
available to the general public via the ANA website.
EDUCATION PROGRAM ORGANIZER:
To best utilize this program:

Select a speaker from your geographic area.

Plan to contact a prospective speaker a month or more prior to the
event.

Determine what equipment, such as slide projector, display table,
etc., is needed.

Obtain biographical information of the speaker to assist in
introduction and promotion.

Confirm the date, time and location of the event in writing.

Consider reimbursing the speaker for travel costs ($10-15) and/or
providing a meal.

Obtain in advance an ANA Certificate of Appreciation to present to
the speaker at the conclusion of his or her program.
