Coin Show Safety
Use caution and common sense to ensure your personal safety, as well as your collection’s when attending shows. Be wary of your
mind-set. “Convention-mode” is much more complicated than “vacation-mode,” and your normal internal alarms can be
suppressed. You might have a busy schedule—meetings, booth responsibilities, appointments, etc.—and to top it off, you probably are
exhausted from all the activities. So, try to be extra alert and always remember to remove your badge when you leave the show floor.
Whether you are bringing expensive numismatic items to sell or making a substantial purchase at the show, keep in mind that the ANA Security Room
at the Convention Center is available to all members. However, only those with official ANA Photo ID’s are admitted. Security Room
Photo ID’s are free to members and are available at Dealer Registration. Check the show schedule for the location and hours of the
Security Room and Dealer Registration.
