Not only do we believe that the National Baseball Hall of Fame coins will be a hit due to their unique domed shape and wide appeal to baseball fans, but we also anticipate that the current interest in gold and silver by investors and collectors alike will help to attract individuals to these significant coins.

The American Numismatic Association National Money ShowSM held at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Ga., on February 27 – March 1, 2014, was a hugely successful coin convention. Attendance at the show was exceptional and over 4,771 attended event. Our personal thanks to ANA Convention Director Rhonda Scurek Executive Director Kim Kiick and all the staff for their tireless work. Thanks also to President Walter Ostromecki Jr. and the board for their work on this convention. A huge thanks to General Chair Chip Cutcliff, his committee and volunteers; the hosts Georgia Numismatic Association and Metropolitan Coin Club; and the National Volunteers for their dedicated and outstanding work on this convention. ...

The show was at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Convention Center in north Atlanta. The cab fare from the airport was $70. The weather was cold at 28 degrees Fahrenheit when we landed. It was 35 the next day and was up to 60 degrees on Saturday.

George Washington was the top vote getter in the Kids Zone presidential vote at the Atlanta National Money Show. Washington edged out Lincoln with 38.1 percent of the vote, reports National Volunteer Marilyn Reback.
