Money talks – just ask lecturers for the Maynard Sundman/Littleton Coin Company Lecture Series on Aug. 9 during the 2007 ANA World’s Fair of Money® in Milwaukee, Wis. The symposium will explore the ways money serves as a means of communication now and throughout history.

World-Class Exhibits at ANA World’s Fair of Money Eye-opening exhibits at the American Numismatic Association’s 2007 World’s Fair of Money® in Milwaukee will range from a multi-million dollar 1913 Liberty Head nickel to the world’s largest gold coin, weighing more than 220 pounds. The five-day convention in the Midwest Airlines Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., will be free and open to the public, August 8-12.

Heath Society Established to Create Innovative Educational Opportunities for New Audiences The American Numismatic Association is introducing the Heath Society, a leadership giving program that recognizes individuals and families who contribute $10,000 or more annually.

Jeanne Stevens-Sollman is the recipient of the American Numismatic Association’s 2007 Numismatic Art Award for Excellence in Medallic Sculpture. This prestigious award will be presented Aug. 11 during the awards banquet for the ANA’s World’s Fair of Money in Milwaukee, Wis.

John Dannreuther Named ANA’s 2007 Numismatist of the Year John W. Dannreuther is the recipient of the American Numismatic Association’s 2007 Numismatist of the Year Award. He will be presented the award Aug. 10 at a membership reception in his honor during the World’s Fair of Money® in Milwaukee, Wis.

The American Numismatic Association has selected Collateral Finance Corporation (CFC) of Santa Monica, Calif., as the exclusive official numismatic lender of the Association. As part of the agreement, ANA members will have the opportunity to obtain discounted rates on loans.
