The Florence Schook School of Numismatics honors the memory of
former ANA President Florence Schook, who dedicated much of her
life to educating young collectors and stressing the importance of
knowledge in the enjoyment of the hobby. Students of all ages -
from 13 to 90 - regularly attend the annual ANA Summer Seminar in
Colorado Springs, complete the Numismatic Diploma Program and learn
the basics about grading and counterfeit detection. The knowledge
these students gain enhances their understanding of the hobby,
introduces them to the spectacular body of numismatic resources
available to collectors, and helps them become smarter, more
sophisticated consumers.
Whether you're new to the hobby or a seasoned collector or
dealer, the Florence Schook School of Numismatics has a program
that will enrich your enjoyment of the hobby and expand your
horizons.
