Los Angeles Convention Medal Badge Price: $ 25.00
The ANA annual convention medal design for 2009 has been created by Garrett and Michelle Burke and sculpted by engraver Alex Shagin.

Obverse - The spotlights of the Hollywood hills shine upon coins with historic connections to California while an angel flirts by.

Reverse - Lady Liberty's sister, "Numisma" is shown soaring in between heaven and earth…discovering a golden dream.

Product Description
Each medal badge is a 1.5" bronze medal with a blue ribbon drape.

Designed by graphic artist Garrett Burke and his wife Michelle, a numismatic and art historian. Mr. Burke is most known for his "John Muir in Yosemite Valley" design chosen as California's 2005 commemorative state quarter.
Alex Shagin was a former engraver for the Leningrad Mint and is an internationally acclaimed artist and sculptor.
