FREE ADMISSION DURING FINAL DAY OF ANA’S 2014 NATIONAL MONEY SHOW IN ATLANTA

The public can take advantage of free admission during the final day of the American Numismatic Association's 2014 National Money Show in Atlanta, Ga. The annual show will take place at the Cobb Galleria Centre from Feb. 27 to March 1, 2014. Parking at the convention center is free.

 

Atlanta -logoThe schedule for the show, which was originally slated to conclude on March 2, was altered during a special meeting of the ANA Board of Governors on Thursday, Sept. 26.

 

Show hours are 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27; 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 1. General admission is $6 on Feb. 27-28 and free on March 1. Admission is always free for ANA members and children under 12.

 

Table holders will set up from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27. Bourse tables are available by calling Emily Silver at 719-482-9849, or download the bourse application at NationalMoneyShow.com/Dealers. Table draw for placement on the floor will be Dec. 10-12.

 

The Atlanta National Money Show will feature one of the largest bourse floors of the season filled with an incredible inventory of numismatic items, top-rate educational programs, a superb collection of rarities in the ANA's Museum Showcase, fascinating collector exhibits, and much more.

 

ANA Bylaws allow the Board of Governors to conduct special meetings for the purpose of handling matters of importance in between regularly scheduled board meetings. Board discussions are limited to only items listed on the official agenda, which must be given to all members of the board at least one full day prior to the start of the meeting. A quorum of seven governors must be present to hold the meeting, and five affirmative votes are required for passage of any matter.
