Ft. Laurderdale nearly sold out; ANA arranges discount airfare

The bourse is nearly sold out for the American Numismatic Association's (ANA) 2000 National Money Show in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, next March.

"Interest in the show is running high," says ANA Convention Manager Brenda Bishop.

"Originally our floor space at the Broward County Convention Center limited us to 180 tables. We were fortunate last spring that another group canceled, because we were able to expand our bourse to accommodate 251 tables. Now all the tables are nearly sold out."

Bishop says she will start a waiting list for those who apply for space after the bourse is completely sold.

"We have a good local committee led by Donald W. Goebel Jr., our general chariman," Bishop says. "We again are planning an intensive promotino of ANA's show, including a comprehensive advertising campaign, using television, radio and newspaper, and extensive efforts to garner coverage of the show throughout the news media.

The ANA has arranged for airfare 5-15 percent discounts  on Delta Air Lines, the official airline for the National Money Show, March 3-5.

"Since Florida is such a popular travel destination, espceially at that time of year, we are urging those planning to attend the convention in Ft. Lauderdale to make their reservations early," Bishop says. "Early planning also can mean the best savings on airfares."

For reseervations on the ANA's official airline to the 2000 National Money Show, call Delta Meeting Network Reservations at 800/241-6760 or M&M World Travel Service at 800/426-8326, and refer to File No. 135493A to obtain the appropriate discount.

Laura (I think IT'S Laura), Yes, but don't necessarily blame yourself or your coffee-less state. I find Apple's autocorrect feature often adds the apostrophe where it is incorrect.
