WHAT IS MY PENNY WORTH? PROBABLY NOT AS MUCH AS YOU HOPED

A recent report on the American Telemundo networks and websites implied that there are thousands of pennies in circulation that could be worth big money to collectors. Unfortunately, that's not the case. While there are certain pennies that can be worth big money, they are rare and hard to find. Here are some resources for determining whether your penny is worth more than face value.

I was hoping $10 for my 1924 penny and $15 for a 1916. I was disappointed to see that the 1916 was worth $0.30 and my 1924 was worth $0.20--only 2% of the value that I had hoped.
