Young Numismatist Programs

Young numismatists are the future of the hobby. The ANA sponsors several programs created for the beginning young collector through age 22. The David R. Cervin Ancient Coin Project, Early American Copper Coin Project and The Dollar Coin Project allow YNs to earn coins by completing activities or projects. Summer Seminar scholarships are available to active young numismatists and YNs can also earn bonus dollars to purchase items from the annual YN auction. A monthly e-newsletter is written by YNs.

Member Voting Rights

The ANA is led by a member-elected Board of Governors. Members who meet the age and longevity bylaws are eligible to vote in biennial elections by casting a paper or electronic ballot.

Volunteer with the Association

The ANA welcomes members to volunteer at conventions, as club representatives or at the Money Museum in Colorado Springs. Members can also mentor a fellow numismatist or young collector.

Young numismatists between the ages of 5-17 pay a platinum membership fee of $26 per year

Platinum membership for those between the ages of 18-64 is $46 per year

Senior membership for numismatists ages 65 or over is $41 per year

International memberships incur an additional $36 per year for shipping and handling.


Gold members have access to the digital version of The Numismatist.

Young numismatists between the ages of 5-17 pay a gold membership fee of $14 per year

Gold members over the age of 18 pay a gold membership fee of $28 per year


Silver members will have access to the digital version of The Numismatist.

The silver membership is $14 per year. This membership is only available to spouses or domestic partners at the same address as a gold or platinum member.


Bronze subscribers receive an online subscription to The Numismatist for $3 a month. Subscribers do not receive any other membership benefits.
