Closer To Cashless Society ?

Cashless Society

So it seems that the powers in Europe & USA are willing to consider removal of the largest currency notes in circulation - Supposedly, this would reduce or eliminate criminal activity - What would you all see as the benefits or problems with a cashless society? - I personally do not see how it could really function - For 1 thing, how would politicians get paid off ? - Please let me know your thoughts
