Weird fake nickel

I found this in a jar of change someone at our church gave me. Its made of plastic I think and its date is 1954D. I think it might be play money but usually they say "no cash value" on those.In that same jar of change I found a 1945S mercury dime, a 1957D quarter, and a 1954D dime. I bought some stuff on eBay and ill post those when I get them.

What happened to this site?

Whatever happened to all the other users on this site? I mean there's  over 20,000  other people who have been active at some point in time and now there's only like 20 active people. It seems like this site was rather popular a few years back. What happened??

Yellow and brown seal money made during WWII

During world War 2 the United States government made special banknotes of 1,5,10, and 20 dollar denominations with a brown seal for Hawaii and for Northern Africa they made 1 , 5 , and 10 dollars with a yellow seal so that if the enemy captured those places and started to counterfeit the money to ruin the economy they could just demonetize them. In those places they could only use the special seal currency unless they had a license to use regular cash. The values for the Hawaii notes can be anywhere from around $20 to several thousand and the north African ones can be bought for around $40 to several thousand dollars.
