I found a 1980 DDO FS-101 while searching rolls of cents this weekend. Grade looks to be MS61 or so. I would say, one of my top 2 or 3 finds searching rolls so far if not the best.
I was going through my accumulated coins from pocket change and found a die clashed 2013 P dime.
I had another fun find last night. A 1969D with no designer's initials (FG) on reverse.
I was recently going through about 1000 Wheat Cents to pass time and see if by chance I would find any varieties I could identify in my recently purchased copy of the Cherry Picker's Guide.
About 10 years ago, I rediscovered my childhood hobby of coin collecting. I started by working to complete my set of Lincoln cents as I expanded my focus to Indian Head cents, Buffalo and Liberty nickels. Now I work on most denominations passively as the budget permits.
I've always enjoyed when my sons go to coin shows with me. To see them sharing my interest and finding coins for their collections is always fun for me. One focuses on collecting series, the other likes Silver Eagles and 90% silver coins more as an investment.
