Ebay coin purchase update

| CoinHunter

Good news! I just received two of the items that I ordered on ebay! Including my first ever third party graded coin, a 1955-S MS-66 RD NGC Lincoln Cent, I was thinking that the holder would be covered in scratches, but nope, not a single one! I think who ever commented on my blog and saying something like "who ever sent that in to get graded must have been hoping for a higher grade" was right because the holder looks brand new. Also, the NGC Price Guide value is $35, and I only payed $14 so I definitely think is was worth every penny! Also, I received the P&D set of George HW Bush dollars, and I have to say, even though they werepackagedin an envelope, they came in great shape!Thesellerpackagedthem in a flip with two layers of card stock covering it. I still have to receive the off-center penny, which should cometomorrow, so I will update you guys when I getthat. Now that that is out of they way, I just got back from my credit union (the mail came while I was gone) and while I wasthere I picked up $300 in quarters and $150 indollar coins, I took asneak peek at the dollar coins and itdefinitely looks like there is going to be some NIFCs in there, I hope I find a proof like @Kurisu! I will also update you guys on what I find from that hunt when I finish it! Thanks for reading this, enjoy the pics, and have a splendid day!

That is what I was thinking, I have hunted over 30 boxes of pennies, and nope, no 55-S.

Those are some very nice pick ups and a great start for sure! I really like the 1955-S cent. Keep us posted on how you're doing.

Nice pickups! I recommend that you follow the PCGS price guide or the greysheet price guide, because the NGC price guide tends to over value them. PCGS says $28, and greysheet says $27. Still a good deal, thanks for the update!

Nice 55 S cent. Makes a great start to graded coin collection. I do like that error coin you bought. I need to collect errors!
