How sick is this? We haven't even been to Rosemont in 2014 yet and I'm doing my research on getting to and from Portland next March. One part of my trip is set - going home. Using my Amtrak Guest Rewards points for the train excursion of a lifetime after the Portland NMS closes. I'm taking the Coast Starlight from Portland to Sacramento, and then the California Zephyr from Sacramento to Chicago. It gets me to Chicago on a monthly meeting date for the Chicago Coin Club, and then Southwest Airlines can whisk me  home.

Me too. I am in NorCal can't wait for portland 2015. 

I've been to enough of these now that I just reserve hotel space a week or two in advance and that's all I do to prep.  But yeah, when I was getting started (Coincidentally, that was Portland 1998) I wargamed the heck out of it.

I'm just thrilled that it's on the West Coast ... time zone changes are rough! :)

Okay Portland is under way as I type this, I have booked my hotel and  plane reservations into Chicago.  Looking forward to doing more than just walking the bourse.

Hey, this may be off-subject but what exactly was the debacle with Kennedy Half Dollars at the convention in 2014? As a Kennedy Half Dollar lover I wonder...

from what I understand dealers were having homeless people stand in line buying coins to avoid the coin limit.. some correct me if im wrong
