Numismatic Socialization in the Age of Covid

not that much. i have explored the ranges of ebay but most of the sells on there are just either cheap """""grab bags"""" (those of witch are just scams) or stuff i'm not that interested in. i mainly get my source of coins from friends at my church that just reopened, and most likely my birthday on the 20th and Christmas.

Life will go one. You might die of covis. But you won't die from going to a show. Is a coin worth a human life?? No

My LCS is still open, so not much has changed for me. But all the resources and activities on the ANA website has been real fun to do during quarantine

The Vacines are here. The light at the end of the tunnel is not an incoming train. We lasted this long a few months more. And we will get back to some type of normal living.  The doctors and nurses on one side of a commen the first responders on the other. That would make a good commen

Yeah, a commemorative honoring nurses, doctors, and first responders and not Covid itself would be good.

Some of you may not be aware of the results of almost every medical advancement in our time.  The shots and upcoming treatments for Covid could be without any backlash.  But, medical history has show us time and time again, that most new treatments will have some (may only be 1 in a 100,000,000) negative backlash.  We as a society need to be aware of this.  Already the VA hospitals are considering mandatory shots to all hospital personnel.  Really, is this where we are in a society?  I'm not sure that mandatory treatment to all of our medical and first responders around the country is a correct or justifiable course of action.  I hope that I am wrong, I would like to get the opinion of any people we have on here with a medical background.  I have not made my mind up yet, I'm still thinking this thing through.  Tell me, you think I'm crazy or not?

Well Stumpy, you have brought up a situation that is about to confront me. Being a therapist working in an outpatient clinic, I am quite possibly going to be told I have no choice about having to take it. If you question the potential risk that it might not be safe, you get looked at like you just sprouted a third eye in the middle of your forehead. But people have suffered neurological injuries from vaccines in the past."But the government says it's safe!" Righhhht. Yeah, that's the ticket. So I guess that is why we have all those ads on tv by lawyers who are suing over all those safe drugs the government approved.
I'll wait a year and see what happens. I would prefer to resign and be unemployed than take the risk. And judging from talking to my peers, you might see a lot of rebellion in the ranks coming to a news cycle near you in the near future

What most don't realize when you are an employee of the VA (think socialized medicine), you don't have a choice.  If you are Military you not only don't have a choice, you can't pursue legal means if you do get sick.  Nope, no active duty military are allowed to bring suite against the government.  It is going to be a mess, just wait, you'll see.
