Boycott The Mint

Hi! Your have been seeing this pop up everywhere. Why. Well the last few years don't tell you why I will. One Ryder has to go. Two where are the products for the Yns.? They don't care about collectors. There prices have gone up. And there mintage went down. I received my Numismatic News. I read the  story's of people getting shut down on the proof coin from West Point. I signed on for a Morgan. I received this message. I am not a robot. I had to pick three planes. This is correct. It seems computer savy people and companies had set up there computers to order. That with the bulk buyers gives you a 12 minute sell out. The Bot the mint calls it  will clear all this up. But some did not get that or there coins. Order what you need for your sets. But these 160.00 medals have to stop. Didn't the Mint say there was not enough silver! Two and a half ounces for a medal. Sorry. .

I am over the 2021 silver dollar hype. If I want any, i will look for certified ones at coin shows or EBAY. I don't think boycott the mint works with our small group of people that participate on the ANA blog or forums. Hopefully the hobby is strong enough that the Mint will do well? I do wonder about the bulk sales and the inflated prices it creates by supply and demand issues. The mint is out to make money anyway they can to justify the high payroll for those in charge. In the long run the hobby will dictate what happens at the mint. Collectors are just not out there any more for a lot of things, and coins are in the same situation. As society goes in a different direction, so will many of the hobbies we enjoy.

I did. And a good thing that I have one coming from the ANA contest or else I'd have been stuck paying for it on the secondary. Not initially, years from now when the fad wears off.

Personally I don't believe in doing boycotts. Just because too many people get hurt in the splash back. Normal people that happen to work at the mint, in this case. The mint could end all this by simply doin unlimited mintages. If we boycott the mint but still buy the item elsewhere, how does this hurt the mint? They still made the sale. I o understand the frustration and share it. They need some major "Head Guy" changes.

I cannot tell you how many complaints I have read about the mint. Many of the people in this site. I complained using there email. No one else did. I also said buy the coins you need . So don't boycott send an email. Until they understand some of there problems everything will stay the same. But please something has to be said.
