I use Trove Softwares Coin Elite program. It is excellent for US coins. For world coins you have to manually input everything and automatic updates are not available.

Hi. I'm old-fashioned. First with my device I would have to down load anything like that. Two I have all my coins hand written in a book. If there slabed the certification is next to the information of the coin. If it's raw it's listed were it is and the condition. It's a large book twenty three years worth. But there all cataloged at my finger tips by my side. It works for me. I'm sure you will find the software your looking for and every thing will be at your fingertips!. Lots of luck your doing the right thing. Mike

I have been using "Exact Change" software since 2008 and have been very happy with it. It has an extensive database for world coins and is customizable. One of the features that I really like is the way it links to the Krause world coin catalogs (if you have them digitally). Also, after the initial purchase I have never had to pay for any updates or expansions. http://www.exactchange.info

The Exact Change software looks like a great solution for cataloging a collection.

I use Coin Manage deluxe, I think there is a trial download for it, It has both US and world, It also will apply values automatically, you can keep track of where and when you bought them, who you sold too, what profit you made, and you can click on a coin and open up coin facts from inside the software

I'm just curious, what software did you end up getting? I have been using Exact Change for about 15 years I've tried them all and keep coming back to Exact Change, it beats them all. Customer service is the best, I've replaced my computer many times over the years, and a simple email is all it takes to get the latest version installed on my new computer. Never had to pay a cent after my initial purchase, has frequent updates (all free), you can add any country (also, free), great pictures, frequent value updates, etc. I can't say enough about the program, as I said, it's the best, I have found
