If you missed out on participating in the exciting (first time) offered Diggers Metal Detecting course you missed out on a truly unique Rocky Mountain High Adventure Experience. Approximately 24 individuals had the opportunity to have as co-instructors Tim 'Ringmaster' Saylor and "King' George Wyant to strike it rich at a specially selected site about an hour away from the Colorado College Campus. An strike it rich 'numismatically' is just what a number of those who bravely took on the natural elements at an elevation of 10,000 feet plus under the burning rays of the sun. Coin finds ran the gambit from Lincoln Cents to Morgan Dollars. YN Shelby Pooster came away with nine coin treasures. Your Prez, well see my recent picture post holding a blackened-corroded Morgan and Governor Ellis --a number of beer bottle caps plus a nice sunburn. All in all it was a great outdoor adventure. But, don't worry if you missed it. The Diggers team has promised to come back and host another class during the 2015 Summer Session. What a great way to break into live television, a life I am considering after the ANA Presidency!

According to the Diggers Facebook page, they were filming as recently as this week. And Nat Geo just showed a marathon of it last week.

When I attend the summer seminar this year I will definitely join their class. Many of the coins in my collection have even been found on hunts with my metal detector, a Teknetics Delta 4000
