Holy Grail

@cuts

In an effort to get to know each other a little better, what would you say your "Holy Grail" piece is, and what is your favorite piece you currently have and why it is your favorite. Include a picture(s) if you wish. To get things started, I would say right now my favorite piece that I own is my 20th anniversary Silver Eagle set. My "Grail" would have to be either the 25th anniversary set, or the 2008-W Burnished Eagle with the 2007 reverse. Of course, there are many others, but I'll start there.

  Mine is the example below. Love the Pan Pac half as well.

My holy grail coin has to be a 1793 chain cent. I doubt I will ever own one but it would be nice. The attached images are a coin currently listed on ebay (not mine) for $58,000. There might be hope for me though because I see they have a lay-a-way plan.

My favorite coin currently is an 1883 VAM-10 Sextuppled Stars Morgan Dollar. It was the first VAM that I actually identified although I already owned it.  As I started to learn about VAMs I figured the best place to start was the coins I already had.

I think my Holy Grail piece would be a Mule.  Any Mule would do, but I'd prefer to find it searching rolls that having to pay for it!

My holy grail is the 1909-S VDB. While this may be not be such a big deal to others, it is my holy grail because I have very little capital and am working on completing a Lincoln cent set.

My favorite coin in my collection is easily my 1931-s Lincoln cent

Yeah, I'd take one of those on any day of the year, not just Christmas - excellent choice, sweet coin!
