Patterns

Any fans of pattern/experimental pieces out there? Does anyone know when we can expect a new guidebook? The one I have is almost 10 yrs old.

CoinLady, You might want to pose the question on ESylum, they have lots of folks with extensive libraries and knowledge of currently published books.

I know Wayne Homren, the Editor, he can probably assist.

Unfortunately Pattern guidebooks are one of those areas that gets updated every once in a great while. True, we are in need of a revised edition. While seeing all the latest patterns would be nice, what I think slow down the process is the fact that prices are usually updated thru auction records, and that's where the real work is involved. I would like to see an new edition of Inaugural medals published as well.

My local coin shop owner Gottschalk has some very rare pattern pieces I always like to see when I go there. Super expensive, but very rare and graded very high. I would check with the ANA library, a coin book store, or maybe the numismatic bibliography association or other clubs dedicated to books, I am sure they would love to help.
