GIVE ME A BREAK-WHO COULD HAVE FORSEEN THIS PROBLEM? ANYONE!

The mint's problem is much more than technical. Yes, that is a problem, but the unfairness of who gets a coin and who doesn't is the main problem. It is simply insane to see a PCGS PF-70 v75 privy gold coin on sale by a dealer for $18,500! Yes, I did get this e-mail offering this coin, and my jaw dropped :( Why the mint couldn't figure that out for a gold coin with a mintage of 1945 is beyond comprehension. If they keep dithering around with technical issues, they will never get to the heart of the problem.

They really ought not to be selling large quantities to dealers. In fact, I think they should have a policy one to each customer no matter who the customer is.  Isn't it ironic how much time is spent giving credence to the notion of "equitable treatment" and there is none here? But, I digress..... Mean old mint!

I can sum it up. What a crock!.We have known for years that companies get preference over regular customers.. There at NGC before sale date. By the time NGC is done with the labels and done slabs there done grading Just in time the pre-sale.is over and you get your coin. All set up ready to go. Double the price. I have seen so many of these pre-sales is sicking. They know the grades. They know how many of each to expect. The different cores. It's a joke. They play us for fools. They try to encourage there designers. That's a joke. Worse commens in years. I call the May Flower the walking dead coin. Look at there faces . No a single smile they made it to the free land. All I saw was misery. Maybe it's time to get rid of the whole lot of them. Then the man made mintages. Give me a break. We are not that stuped. They think we are. I have nothing else to say except I'm glad I'm not in jail. I believe I'm the only one to email them about there junk coins. They should end the commen project complrty

Yup, got the, I'm sorry the site crashed and it's not our fault, we had no clue the low mintage was going to cause this e-mail.  It's all bovine feces!  They had last years model to learn from and chose not to learn a thing. As for the established customer comments, if you're signed into your account and are a regular customer, then you are automatically signed in "correctly", oh wait, that's just another example of them trying to point the finger at "soft ware" issues, not their inability to set mintages correctly and properly manage widely anticipated coin releases.How about only releasing one coin at a time, instead of a "coin scrum" free for all. Ryder, his cronies and the finger pointing have to go.  If this were a private company, his butt would have been fired by now.  I feel this way and I was lucky enough to get a coin.  More ranting later for now I'm going to go throw up!

@Golfer
390,000 users ? They have that many users? That is great demand for the mint. No wonder they sell out.
In Ryder's letter he states that figures are project based on demand so as not to have unsold inventory. Guess no one told him they had that many users.

390,000 users and a mintage of a few thousands. Well mission successful. No coins left over to make them work. Do they even read our letters??

It seems they will never change.
