I'm building a 20th century type set and got robbed out of an MS65 1964 Kennedy and had to settle for an anacs slabbed "gem proof" one...is it worth busting open or would you feel comfortable leaving it the holder it came in?

I love collecting certified first strikes and early releases for US coins; they give me the best die strike examples.

My favorite has to be the mercury dime or the indian head penny.

I started my collection with small cents. I too am a fan of flying eagle. I think my favorite coin I collect are the walking liberty halves. My favorite untouchables would be a MS 1856 flying eagle, or 1804 dollar as long as I'm dreaming. Ok, I could go on and on here.
