I'm really happy with this coin. It caught my eye when I was looking at a lot of 8 Mint State Roosevelt Dimes on eBay. The pictures were blurry, but you could tell one of the dimes had some nice toning. I bid on the lot as it was rather inexpensive and I was willing to take the gamble. I never expected it to be this nice!

Our Wilmington Coin Club held its annual coin show a couple of weeks
ago. The three YN members (including myself) gave 10 minute
presentations to YNs who came on Saturday and participated in our YN
educational program.
Here are some pictures of Casey, Garrett,
Ms. Pam Sitley, and myself. The club has a YN program every year during
the 3 day show. It is a lot of fun.
Visit our club facebook page for more photos of the YN program and the coin show:

Howdy Derek and Kenny! Welcome to the party. :)
@Kenny
Will any of you (YNs) be at this year's summer seminar?
Hopefully I will be able to go this year if I get the full scholarship. If I do, I'll want to take the Ancient Greek Coinage class. ;)

Doug Mudd is a fantastic instructor for Ancient Greek Coinage. He's extremely knowledgeable. And of course he'll have some nice coins from the ANA collection.

The Geater Houston Coin Club approved three young numimatists for scholarship to the summer Seminars last night (Feb 10th). There would have been more but no one else applied. In all a total of six scholarships were awarded and an announcement at the next meeting asking for more applications for consideration. I have seen the YNs at the summer seminar and its a good program and is worthy of the support it gets from all fronts.
