The American Numismatic Association School of Numismatics is offering two educational courses held in conjunction with the 2017 World's Fair of Money in Denver, CO.

“Coin Conservation, Authentication & Grading”  and "Pioneer Gold Coinage" will be offered prior to the 2017 World's Fair of Money starting August 1st.

COIN CONSERVATION, AUTHENTICATION & GRADING (3-day seminar)

Join us for an intensive 3-day seminar emphasizing the most essential numismatic skills for collectors of any level. Instruction includes hands-on coin examination.

Instructor: Brian Silliman, Professional Numismatist, Brian Silliman Rare Coins, and former NCG Grader/Conserver and ANA Authenticator/Conserver.

Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday-Monday, July 29-31, 2017.

PIONEER GOLD COINAGE  (2-day seminar)

In the 19th century the discovery of gold across the U.S. led to a fascinating series of coinage produced by the U.S. Mint, the U.S. Assay Office and private minters like the Bechtlers and Moffat & Co. Learn the history of the three major U.S. gold rushes through coins minted from Georgia to North Carolina to Colorado, Oregon, Utah and California. Examine high-resolution images and actual examples of rare Pioneer Gold!
