Sundman Lecture Series Symposium
FREE and open to all attendees of the World's Fair of Money®, the symposium will take place 10AM-4PM, Wednesday, August 17 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.
This year's theme is "Numismatic Art Through the Ages"
From the earliest times engravers created the first dies, molds or printing plates, certain examples have been recognized for their outstanding artistry and beauty. From the ancient coins of the “Naxos Master” to Augustus Saint-Gauden’s Liberty design for the 1907 $20 or Will Hicok Low’s design for the front of the 1896 $5 silver certificate or the Renaissance medals of Pisanello, this year’s Sundman lecture is based on masterpieces of numismatics. ► Find lecture schedule and speaker bios here.
Luncheon underwritten by Maynard Sundman/Littleton Coin Co. Lecture Series Endowment and David Sundman.
