A fine bookstore day Monday, and I even received something remarkable in change...a 1941 Lincoln cent.
Busy working on a few new projects. One article I've outlined is on collecting Lincoln cents over the years, and the many different dates, mintmarks, conditions, and varieties a collector can encounter over the years.
One small but challenging set is the collection of matte proof Lincoln cents. Only nine coins to the set, but finding choice coins could take some time and a lot of searching.
Great trip downtown today. Farmer's Market, shopping, lunch served by my favorite waiter. And of course, a visit to the coin shop.
I recently purchased Dave Bowers' updated Guide Book of Lincoln Cents. Highly recommended! Everything a Lincoln cent lover could want is included in this book. Lots of photos, history, served in the inimitable Bowers style.
