Hello,
I recently came across these two elongated coins from the 1991 and 1992 ANA Conventions. One of them is a is a 1891 O Morgan Dollar with the number "49" stamped on it, the other is an 1893 Columbian Half Dollar with the number "121" Stamped on it.
I'm guessing that these are production numbers.
My question is, does anyone have information on how many of these were rolled?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you

I don't know anything about these, and have never seen one offered anywhere, but they're kind of neat. Using a Columbian commemorative and Morgan Dollar sure adds to interest instead of the typical cent coins usually encountered with elongated pieces.

I've been them done with Penny's but never these coins. There rolled by a machine. When I was a kid you put the coin in and you pulled the handle. I don't know what they use today.
