
New display honors Arthur Kagin

The Dwight N. Manley Numismatic Association Library has a new window exhibit on display commemorating the legacy of Arthur Kagin. Arthur Kagin's awards are on loan from his son, Don Kagin. Arthur Kagin greatly influenced the numismatic world during the more than 70 years he spent in the coin business.
ANA Life Member
Brass membership cards are only given to ANA members with a Life Membership status.
Numismatic Ambassador Award
The Numismatic Ambassador Award is presented by the Numismatic News newspaper to honor heros at the grassroots level of coin collecting. Arthur Kagin was one of the first authors to talk about coins as an investment.
Farran Zerbe Memorial Award
The Farran Zerbe Memorial Award is the highest honor the American Numismatic Association awards. Arthur Kagin entered the numismatic business in 1933 and rose in prominence through his rare coin auctions and his involvement in several major coin deals. Art and his son, Don, are best known for their involvement with Pioneer gold coins.
