Kids Zone at the Money Museum

The Money Museum also offers a unique and engaging experience for children aged 7-14 in its Kids Zone. Through interactive exhibits, fun activities, and free classes held every third Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., children can learn about money by doing and playing. They will explore basic and advanced concepts, such as making change and understanding monetary systems, while also gaining insights into history, geography, trade, art, and world cultures. As a bonus, parents can explore the museum exhibits for free while their children participate in the Kids Zone classes.

Blue Star Museum Free Admission

The Money Museum is proud to participate in the Blue Star Museums program, offering free admission to active-duty military personnel and their families from Armed Forces Day (May 17) through Labor Day (September 1), 2025.

Simply present a valid military ID at the front desk to enjoy access. Located in Colorado Springs, the museum features world-class exhibits on the history of money, including ancient currency, American rarities, and a new exhibit opening June 26: The Silk Road(s): A Numismatic Travelogue.
