That's all she wrote
This will probably be my final blog. It's been fun and interesting being a part of this, but the time has come. I have had too many problems with computers recently, and last week was the breaking point. Yes, my writing career must come to an end.I want to make it clear that I've been thinking of this for months, before the recent incident and before the bankruptcy. I am in my 60s and cannot spend any more time, effort, and money fussing with computers. This is not something a tech could fix. There have just been too many issues.I also want to make it clear that I am still a numismatist and always will be. I have enjoyed coins for over 50 years now. I will continue reading and doing what I can. I hope to attend the WFM this summer. I will also visit the coin shop downtown, even though I won't write about it!Those of you who follow my articles, thank you. I have also published non-coin related articles, in addition to publishing 8 romance novels.

Sorry I'm kinda late in answering your blog... work calls haha ; ) Anyway I will be sad not to hear about the Walnut Room, your favorite waiter and what you saw at the local coin shop. I will miss not having the only other active woman here on our site. I get the computer deal. I'm on a computer alot at work and sometimes the last thing I want to do is get back on my computer at home and have more writing to do. Well at least you are still commenting even if you aren't participating in blogging anymore. Good luck always in your future ventures ; )

I will miss your blogs, especially about your trips to local coin dealers. It so much reminds me of my early days in coin collecting when there were a much larger number of local coin dealers where you could go for a Saturday afternoon and just sit around and talk coins with the owner and other collectors who happened to be around. Today too many collectors do not want to spend the time to really learn about the coins they collect; they just want to look on eBay or on-line dealers who sell slabbed coins so the "collectors" don't even have to learn basic grading skills. Your writings have usually brought a smile, and often a laugh. But always a little tear of nostalgia.

We lost your presence and articles due to technology, but at least technology gave us the chance to view some of your work. I will definitely miss your upbeat articles and coin shop visits. Maybe I will meet you one day at a WFM I will be there 2020. Perhaps we will meet and never know it. I will be sure to check out any other books written by you. So long.

This is a great loss for our community. Not just here at the ANA but the loss of your knowledge in your articles they will be missed. I miss them already. It's a shame but you know what what is best. I know technology can be frustrating but anything made by mankind breaks down. You will be missed. It was our pleasure to know you. Einstein said technology would be the downfall of man. This is a perfect example. Look what we lost because of it. I wish you all the happiness and good will. You deserve it after fifty years in this wonderful hobby. So i will say good by and good luck and God speed. Mike
