Toured the Annex (Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia). They had a display of Charles Lindbergh medals and memorabilia. A very cool place to visit.
Lindbergh was a big deal in 1927, just as John Glenn was in 1961 and Neil Armstrong was in 1969. You can go off on Lindbergh exonumia and come away with an impressive and large collection.
I love coins and medals of our history and this at the time was unthinkable. A great understanding. Changed flying for ever. Thanks for the pictures. Mike.
