JFK's Dublin, Ireland Presentation Piece
I recently acquired this specimen from the family of a Department of State officer who served at the American Embassy in Dublin, Ireland in 1962. The presentation case, with presidential seal, is the first of its kind that I have seen that houses a Kennedy POTUS sGm.

I happened to be watching the PBS special on Robert F. Kennedy the other night and he was the first person to reach the summit of Mount Kennedy. There were photos of RFK on the summit and among the things he left there were a book of JFK's inaugural address as well as a specimen of the exact JFK presentation medal pictured.

The Kennedy's heritage was traced to Ireland we have a great relationship with them. I bet there is more.

It almost looks exactly like the modern half dollar, funny how that turned out. A nice piece to add to your collection, congrats!
