Book Review - Cherrypickers' Guide to Rare Die Varieties of United States Coins
Everyone says, if you are an error coin or variety collector, then you need the Cherrypickers' Guide. I went to the ANA money museum this year, and I saw this book in the gift shop, it reminded me that I wanted to go to the library to look at this book. I went in and found it. This book is amazing. The only downside is that it costs a lot (about $40 or $50 dollars.)If you collect varieties or errors of any kind, this book will probably list them. I use this book for identifying Lincoln Cent varieties when I search rolls of coins. It lists literally hundreds of errors that I never knew existed. It is PACKED with information, and all of the pictures are great. If I could have any Numismatic Book I would probably chose this. There are so many varieties out there, and I hope that this book will someday help me identify one of them.

I know there is a downloadable version available as well so you can put both volumes on your tablet for easy lookup at shows. A great resource for the variety collector.

There are two volumes. Depends on what you are looking for as to what volume you need. I believe anew edition is coming out next year. Good choice..
