Hi everyone!   I just received a new coin that I added to my collection and wanted to share it with you.  This is a 2022 Fiji Dogs 1 oz Silver $0.50 coin as a GEM BU.  In the Republic of Fiji this coin is considered to be legal tender for one-half dollar.   The coin is .999 fine silver and measures 40 mm in diameter.   Limited mintage of 12,000 pieces.  The obverse shows the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Fiji.   Now being a "dog person", I love the reverse of this coin!  Whats not to love about a big ol' happy dog running towards you in anticipation of a sloppy wet kiss.  This is the first coin in the series "Fiji Dogs".  Each release of the series will focus on a different dog breed, celebrating a diversity of body shapes and character traits.  I can't wait to see next years design and add it to my collection!  Thanks for reading my blog!  Comments are always welcome.     ; )
