Interesting.

Is that 2 cent some kind of medal or token? And I am pretty sure that in the 2021 the mint will be changing the ASE design, just not to that one pictured.

Your the fist one to to anything as far as a design. The Liberty I'm OK with I don't think the Perth mint would agree. Everyone wants to get rid of the penny . I don't. Suggestion a two cent piece didn't fly years ago. But I'm glad you did this instead of saying get rid of this or do this coin over you took it upon yourself to do it. I congratulate you on you initiative. Great blog good thinking keep it up!

Hi! I like it insight. Sometimes the mint will hold a contest for a coin design. If they do enter it. I think it's a winner. Or I believe you can send it in. I would do it soon because sometimes it can take year's to design or vote on a design. Well done keep up the good work!

It would be great if the Mint did make new and more artistic coinage!

I don't think that they will make a commemorative as small as the 2 cent and doubt they would make coin to commemorate silver dollar, Maybe to commemorate the mint or the treasury or the first coin made.
