We Found a Diamond in a Herd of Buffalos! Coin Hunting for Variety Nickels

Coins | theCollectorOfCoins

A dealer friend of mine & I went to a coin show and met with a bunch of other coin dealers to find and buy Buffalo Nickel's in Bulk. My friend is working on a special coin show event featuring the Buffalo Nickel and he is assembling rolls of Buffalo Nickels so someone can win scarce or rare variety Buffalo Nickels (like the 1937-D 3-Legged Buffalo). Well in buying thousands of Nickels, you know we just had to review and grade every single one of them. We also looked for Varieties and Key Date Buffalo Nickels.CHECK OUT THE FULL VIDEO BY VISITING THIS YOUTUBE LINK: https://youtu.be/XGHGuMoVC0c

Hi Collectors... the great thing about coin collecting is that I find myself constantly learning new things. This Wheat Cent coin roll hunt is a great example where you can always discover new things. Finding Semi-Key Date Wheat Penny Coin Roll Hunting

Coins | theCollectorOfCoins

I was able to get a box of Pennies from my local Bank. I love coin roll hunting machine wrapped rolls to see if I can find Wheat Cents (e.g. those Lincoln Cents minted from 1909 to 1958). Early Wheat Cents (from 1909 to 1933) contain many key and semi-key dates that can be worth between $20 and $2000 (or more) depending upon the grade. Well I was lucky once more and found a 1922-D semi-key date cent (among the other wheat cent finds). Come check out this hunt. Coin Roll hunting is a great way to start collecting coins.Check out my coin roll hunt video by clicking here

Coin Roll Hunting Error Quarter Find

Coins | theCollectorOfCoins

I went to my bank and got another $500 box of machine wrapped Quarters so I could coin roll hunt using my Coin Mat. I was looking for Silver and Foreign coins as well as low mintage coins struck at the West Point Mint. And while I did find the "W" quarter in this hunt, I found scarcer and more valuable coin that I was expecting. That's right this coin roll hunt yielded an ERROR COIN. This error coin is of a struck-through (where loose metal or direct had used to be. This quarter (the 2020 National Parks American Samoa "Bat" quarter is very popular and the specific error I found is known as the Blind Bat. This is due to the fact that there was something (maybe debris) on the die field resulting in this off coin struck through error,. A very popular and scarce coin.
