My First Milestone: 1500 Points
This article is about my first major milestone on my way of becoming better at collecting, after this blog is published I will have more than 1500 points, a(sort of)long way from where I started at 0. In this blog I will thank everybody who helped me reach this goal, my friends, and I will talk about my other blogs.
I give credit to the following people who helped me get this far. Starting at the top we have:
coinsbygary, who I think was the first to friend me.
The next are in random order.
Longstrider, who has commented on most of my blogs
Kepi, who has some pretty good blogs
Mike, the oldest Numismatist of all my friends
Mokie, who has given a lot of comments to my blogs
Long Beard, in our private chat he has given me some helpful info
CoinHunter, who I really don't know much about, him being one of my newer friends
I. R. Bama, one of my earliest and most loyal friends
thatcoinguy, who has a lot of facts about coins
the coin guy, who I also don't know much about, him being a new friend
CoinCollector7777, another early and loyal friend
TheHobbyist, who taught me how to change my name, a thing I have used multiple times
CheerioCoins, a new and helpful friend
And finally, AC Coin$, an original friend who has helped me and even gave me my current name
These fellow Numismatists have been very helpful to me and I an only mentioning a few of the things they have done. Thank you fellow Numismatists. These blogs are available to read in my blog section of my account:

A thank you to everybody listed here for helping me reaching this milestone. Thanks for reading,

Didn't say you did cut or paste.

I was not inferring you did say that. I was stating that as one of my guarantees to my readers.

Does anybody know what YN dollars are and how you get them with points?

Go to main page click resources on the orange bar to the far left...then go to Young Numismatist oy YN. That will give the information. What grade are you in?

We are glad you are here. We all help each other grow as collectors no matter how new or how experienced, there is always a lot more to learn.

Looking at your blog Mokie is absolutely on the money. Learning. Not stats or writing blogs everyday. A good blog maybe once a week. That's how long it takes me. Research is very important. Not cut and paste. That's A waste of time. Someone sees an article and cut and paste. They don't even read it. Or they try and make everyone they know what there talking about. Blogs should be written in your own words. Thanks for reading my blog

I would like you to know that not one word in all of my blogs has been copied or pasted from a different site/coin magazine. That is one of my guarantees to my readers, never copy or paste news from another site.

Well, I have looked at all your US coin(my Numismatic field of interest)blogs and they are well done and interesting.

By the way, what are YN dollars and how do you get them with points?

I don't think you can fashion yourself a true numismatist unless you reach out to your fellow collector and share knowledge. We learn best when we collaborate with each other and this forum provides an excellent opportunity to do just that. Congrats on your 1500 points, it means that you have become an active and valuable member of our little community.

That is why I posted this blog.

That's great. Here it comes, BUT you should try to concentrate on learning more. Points is points. They allow you to bid on YN auctions but that's it. Carry on. Just my opinion.

Yes, I agree with that, but I think Mokie's comment best explains what this blog is about.

Keep on participating and you can reach higher goals. Posting two blogs a day will help quite a bit on getting points.

Thanks for the plug. But points mean nothing. They help the kids get money for there auctions. That's all. There is no number one. Were all collectors!!

I do not mean it in that sense though. I think Mokie's comment is a good explanation of why this blog was written.

I appreciate the sentiment. I'm by no means an expert, just the working stiff sort that's been collecting....sorry, hoarding....for five decades. Aside from coinage I love books, older books, first editions when available for sale. Hard cover naturally. I'm also the sort who retains in their memory that which they've read. Many do not for a number of reasons.
