1984 P "Prisoner Cent" Extreme Die Clash Found

Coins-United States | SilverStackerKid

An excellent example of a die clash. This 1984 cent has some amazing toning too. I grade it at 65+. I found it in a jar of cents my grandparents had in the attic in Alabama. This coin had been in a hot and humid attic for about 23 years! The jar had coins up to 1992. Pretty awesome find. Next time ANACS has a sale, I might send it too them along with some other really nice coins.

The Cherrypickers' Guide won't have a listing for this. It's not for errors, only die varieties. Nice example of a "prisoner penny" die clash - sweet find!
