TR Collection (Coins, tokens, etc.)

Coins | AZCollector

I am a great admirer of the Colonel, and anything related to his life/presidency.  Anyone else share a similar interest, what have you seen in the coin world aside from the obvious?

Theodore is by far my favorite of all Presidents, with Andrew Jackson a close second. Although he championed the renaissance of U.S. coinage from 1907 to 1916, there are many other reasons why I hold him with such high reverence.

Does the website allow you to attach photos when making a post? I was going to share my TR coin/token collection I had to date and see if anyone recognized any of the pieces.

We don't see your profile avatar unless we research you. Nobody wants that. WE are VERY thorough and go back decades. Just kidding. Yeah I am a big Teddy Roosevelt fan. He said it's OK to call him Teddy. Go Rough Riders!! Thanks.

I thought my profile picture might have given it away, hahaha. Theodore Roosevelt, the one and only! One of my first coins I purchased was the TR $1 dollar presidential coin. I think that series is a great proof set to collect.

Well George Washington, U.S. Grant, and Dwight Eisenhower, were Colonels for a time, maybe one of those. (:
