1999 Euro 10 ¢ coin (Cervantes, Spain)
Considered by literature intellectuals as the founder of modern Spanish writing structure, the 16th century Spain, Castille's writer image appears in this ten cents obverse for this originally launched Euro coin.
Perhaps a wonderful idea for design to honor with a new coin in 1999 Miguel de Cervantes y Saavedra (1547-1616) as the participating Euro Union member, Spain approved and launched this coin into the monetary exchange markets.
Considering the fact that each Euro member country had a say as to which should be the artistic expressions on each coin produced under their part of the financial accords, this would give the opportunity to all sharing countries to acquire a broader knowledge of each's individual cultural trends. All coins, as minted ran along participating union mrmber countries' formal monetary operations and commerce, giving thus all coinage a strong chance for circulation and value. Overall, the Euro represents a successful still operating monetary accord.
In my own words.
