LINCOLN SHIELD CENT
For little over thirteen years now, the United States smallest denomination, the afamated Lincoln Shield cent has been in renewed circulation. 


Its reverse was redesigned with a beautiful Union Shield with a ribbon across its center. Engravers, Lyndall Bass and Joseph Menna were the artists responsible for this new image. The first batch was minted and distributed in 2010. 

This excellent piece presented here was certified by PCGS and graded Proof 69 Deep Cameo. Its surfaces finished with great attention to detail brought forward its mirror-like clear backgrounds and exquisite reliefs. A joy in my collection.
