This is a great beginning of a collection! You have some real U.S. coinage classics! Thanks for sharing and keep that collection going!

Like Longstrider said, it is expensive to get coins graded so you have to consider the actual value of the coin before considering paying for a slab. Your 1893 CC Dollar would probably grade VG Details and once again, paying all the fees might not make the coin any more desireable. Best thing is to find a trusted coin dealer and ask their opinion. Best of luck.

Outstanding start! Be very cautious, these things are highly addictive.

Grading is very expensive. As a member here you have a free membership at NGC and PMG to send things in. Good luck. I should say it's expensive to me.

I'm sorry but these coins belong in your collections. You have a nice variety. But these are not blogs. A blog tells the history of a coin. Were you got it who designed it Its a nice bunch But we try to limit blogs . Go to some other blogs and read them. You will get a better idea. You will get there. It takes time. You will learn things you never knew before. We share our knowledge. Grading is for coins in great shape. Rare coins and is expensive. All your coins should be protected .
