Welcome back to the fifth YN auction review I’ve done so far. I hope any YN who read this will consider bidding on one of the lots and knowing what they are bidding on. All of the lots this month were really good so let’s get to that review!

The first lot or lot #1 is a 1962-D Washington Quarter; Choice Brilliant Uncirculated (from a Mint Set). This is a great raw, 90% silver, Washington quarter. It has a reverse of 25 YN dollars which is fair but almost every lot goes above its reserve. I bid on it since I am currently working on a Washington quarter folder and is a date I don’t currently have. I’d say it’s around MS65 making it worth around $18. It has a mintage of 127,554,756.

The second coin or lot #2 is a 2018 Ukarine 10 Hryven, Defenders of Donetsk Airport; Gem Brilliant Uncirculated. This coin is historically significant today because of the war going on in Ukraine. The lot has no reserve but the world coin always does. It is made of zinc but although the coin is only worth around $2 it is still a beautiful design and one that I bid on. It has a mintage of 1,000,000.

The third coin, lot #3, or the final lot is a 1948-D Lincoln Cent; PCGS MS-65 Red. The final lot is usually the most expensive and this coin has a reserve of 40 YN dollars. It is worth around $24 and has a mintage of 172,637,500. I love wheat cents but this isn’t a key date or anything like that so I just bid a little bit on this one.
